Before you write
You'll get a faster answer if you include these. The app version is at the bottom of the Profile tab.
- Your device and OS version — for example “iPhone 14, iOS 18.2” or “Pixel 7, Android 15”.
- The Mint version number — shown at the bottom of the Profile tab.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot — especially for a wrong price or a wrong card match.
You can also use Send feedback inside the app (Profile tab), which attaches your app and device details automatically.
Common questions
A card was identified incorrectly
Every scan goes to a review screen before anything is saved, so you can correct it there. Tap the card, then choose the right match from the suggestions, or search for it by name.
Recognition works best with the card flat, filling the guide, in even light and without glare. Sleeved and heavily reflective cards are the hardest cases. If a specific card is wrong every time, send us the card name and set and we'll look at it.
Why are prices different from what I see elsewhere?
Mint prices cards on the European market, in euros. Most other card apps use US sales data in US dollars, so the two will not agree — and for European collectors the euro figure is the one that reflects what a card actually sells for here.
Prices are also adjusted for the condition you record, so a played copy is valued below a near-mint one.
My collection didn't sync to another device
Cloud backup only runs when you're signed in. Sign in with the same account on both devices, open the Profile tab, and check that sync has completed. If a collection still looks out of date, email us before deleting anything.
A card or set is missing from the catalogue
New sets are added as they're released, and it can take a short while after a release before everything appears. If something is missing for longer than that, send us the set and card name.
Scanning isn't finding any cards
Check that Mint has camera permission in your device settings. Then make sure the card is flat, well lit, and fills the guide on screen. For a binder page, use bulk mode and photograph the page square-on.
You can also scan from a photo you already have, using the photo library option on the scan screen.
How do I delete my account or my data?
You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or by request. See account deletion for the steps and what gets removed.
